Educational center

In Educational center there is classroom, photographic laboratory, exhibition and video preview hall, which may also be transformed into photo studio if there is a need. Educational center is in the end of a visitor’s route in the museum and is separated from the main exhibition hall. This way it stands out as a space for informal, experimental and educational projects. It is a democratic and open-minded place, where everyone can develop their creative ideas. Main criteria of works are originality, relevance and expediency of educational project. Also, here educational programs, courses, lectures for children, youth and adults are organized.

Premises of educational center (56 square meters) can take in up to 30 persons. There is an available natural daylight and air conditioning system. While renting educational center, if there is a need, we may prepare the following equipment for your organizational purposes: multimedia projector with a screen, wireless microphones, a computer, laser pointer, Wi-Fi, tables and chairs.

Main exhibition hall / Gallery

The main hall, Gallery of changing exhibitions is situated on the 4th floor. There is modern photo-friendly lightning installed, microclimate control system functioning, that creates a safe environment for exhibited works.

Gallery (137 square meters) can take in up to 120 persons. There is an air conditioning system installed, modern lightning functioning. While renting Gallery, if there is a need, we may prepare the following equipment for your organizational purposes: multimedia projector with a screen, wireless microphones, a computer, laser pointer, Wi-Fi, tables and chairs.

Terrace

From Gallery, which situated on the 4th floor, you may get to non-traditional space, an open terrace on the roof and enjoy unique Šiauliai city panorama. Terrace space is not only a great place to catch a breath after an intensive museum’s exhibition route, but also it suites well for unique open-space events. Also, on the terrace there is an exclusive object installed- camera obscura. On the roof there is also a little turret with one and only in Lithuania camera obscura. Take a glimpse inside to observe how photo image appears.

Terrace (165 square meters) can take in up to 200 persons. While renting terrace, if there is a need, we may prepare tables and chairs.
